Hello, Friends! Today's post features Wiconi International, an organization Co-Founded by Richard and Katherine Twiss. Wiconi, pronounced "we-cho-nee" is Lakota/Sioux term meaning "Life". Wiconi Internationl's aim is to help create a better future for First Nations, Native American people, that have suffered loss of land, dignity, self-respect, life and a way of living due to the actions of newcomers coming to the continent of America to establish homes for themselves by relocating, reducing and destroying those already in America.
