Hello, Familia/Everyone!
I hope you've had a great week, so far. I've decided to make this particular post be about the goals I am accomplishing, as a way to share more of what it is that I do, with you. It's Wednesday, here in the USA, and so far I've accomplished a lot this week. To aid in achieving my goals, I make 'to do' lists of the actions I want to complete. When I complete a task I usually add a check-mark to that goal and I draw a line through the written word(s) like the strike-through on the following
- attended a webinar about BizMagination
- updated several blogs with new posts
- updated the copy of several blogs' textual widgets
- updated the images in a blog's slide show, after uploading the images to Photobucket
- added a color-customized Wibiya toolbar to eleven blogs
- attended a webinar about several ways to make $10,000 a month (legally and morally-right) online
- updated my e-mail accounts
- screened several videos for blog posts
- prepared my meals with fresh, unprocessed ingredients
- prepped my laundry
- changed the background color, the 'welcome' copy, the header content, added an advertisement, raised the post's height and made room for the Wibiya toolbar for another blog
- removed or re-positioned widgets on some blogs
- updated text links on some online sites
- updated a Facebook widget on a blog
- added Windows Live Essentials 2011 to this PC
- installed Adobe updates to this PC
- updated my dream-boards
- visited favorite blogs and other informational sites to keep up-to-date on various topics (real estate, SEO, social media, gardening, increasing income, and similar)
- updated my journal
So, I've checked those items and crossed them off as 'done'. Before this week ends, I've planned to:
- 'follow' new Tweeple on Twitter
- launder the laundry
- do a bit of offline-shopping; go shopping at a local store
- add a few more posts to a hair care blog (that has expanded to being about nourishing the entire body in order to produce beautiful hair).
- attend another webinar of a 90-day challenge I've been participating in
Prior to this week of April 3-9, 2011, I've completed several tasks from January through March 2011. A few of them are listed below:
- complete an e-book as part of a 90-day challenge assignment
- create a Facebook fan page for a new e-book
- create a sales page for the same e-book
- add posts to blogs
- 'follow' new Tweeple on Twitter ( @BoddieMichelle and @Chaella ) - I came up with these names when I discovered that 'MichelleBoddie', 'Michelle', 'Chelle' and 'Chaela' were already taken on Twitter. One of my grandmothers used to call me 'Chella' and 'Michaela' is Italian for 'Michelle'. So, I came up with 'Chaella' from those last, two names & it was available!
- update my desktop
- create a new background for my desktop featuring interior rooms of my dream house
- update my virtual business card
- add a YouTube icon to this blog
- update my YouTube channel's sidebar
- view videos of new YouTube Friends & the others that sent me their videos
- update other online accounts/sites including my Twitter profile details
- create a Google Places site
In the process of doing some of the online tasks mentioned above, I discovered new online sites, by other people, that I'm enjoying including MXTV (also MXTV.org), Vator.tv, A Book Inside and CitiscapeConnect, among several others. In the upcoming days and months of 2011, I've planned to do the following along with other goals:
- create videos of my abstract paintings and photography, and upload them to my Vimeo and YouTube accounts
- feature my abstracts and photography at Chae's Design Gallery.
- create home staging information and content to share at Buy and Sell Estates and Divine Designer.
- create online social sites for my clients
- create websites and online stores for my clients
- establish my flower gardens, organic: vegetable garden, orchards and vineyard (for the grapes rather than wine-making)
- resume playing the piano and the violin
- add to my collection of books
- add to my collection of rocks and stones (not diamonds, although they are exquisite, too); I love the look and feel of smooth stones and varied surface and textures of rocks. Furthermore, they are pretty; I think rocks and stones are beautiful.
Well, there's a bit more 'about me', what I do and some of the things I like. The next time I do a 'Michelle Does This' post, I think I'll share with you the different foods I like and why, types of automobiles I like and why, and the latest of what I'm doing online. Perhaps I'll write a post featuring the types of flowers and plants, I like as well. My goal with this blog is to share the works of others that I like, as well as content about my works and likes. Until then, Familia, take care and have a blessed life that is a blessing to others.
